Our residential treatment center provides a structured environment for the recovering alcoholic/addict to live. This long term rehab service provides a unique treatment program for recovery. Support from your fellowship and continued growth in sobriety are key to staying sober. We believe using horses will help the resident gain a sense of trust, build confidence, and help them learn to ask for help when they need it. Residents participating in our Kentucky rehab program will attend regular AA and NA meetings and learn how to enjoy life again...Clean and Sober!
Our Director of Admissions and Web Development is Brad Forkenbrock, and comes to us from Leavenworth Kansas. He works with the residents and their families to ensure that the transition to our program goes smoothly. Brad also works with the horses and residents daily.
Reed Templeton is the Farm Manager. Reed is from Lexington KY. Reed cares for the many animals living on the farm. He also works with the residents daily, teaching them the basics of horsemanship.
Rose Thiedich directs our horse program and has been training horses and teaching riders for more than 25 years. She has done it all in the horse business; from breeding to coaching at the University of Kentucky.
Mike Rogers, LPCC, provides individual therapy sessions to our residents. He helps the residents develop life skills and learn to maintain their new life. Mike is in private practice in Lexington, KY.
