Quiet Creek Farm is owned by Marc and Sharel Templeton.
We provide a structured environment for the recovering alcoholic/addict to live. Support from your fellowship, accountability and continued growth in sobriety are key to staying sober. We believe using horses will help the resident gain a sense of trust, build confidence, and help them learn to ask for help when they need it. Residents will attend regular AA and NA meetings and learn how to enjoy life again...Clean and Sober!
Our Operations/Resident Manager is Scott McCombs. Scott is from North Carolina and a graduate of Catawba College. He was an Oxford House president in Seattle, Washington. Scott leads daily meditation and group work.
Our Farm Manager is Reed Templeton and he is from Lexington, Kentucky. Reed has been working with horses for more than five years. He works with the residents daily, matching them with a horse, which the resident will then learn to care for under his direction.
Brad Forkenbrock is originally from Leavenworth, KS. He works with the horses and the residents to keep things running smoothly. Brad also maintains the website.
